Meet the team

Jerry Parker
Managing Director

Jerry is Managing Director of SCS Technology Solutions and co-founder. Jerry established SCS in 1995 with a vision of providing the best IT support in Lincolnshire and we've been doing so ever since.

Simon Hickson

Technical Manager

Simon has been with SCS since the business was established in 1995. Simon leads our Technical Team ensuring our customer SLAs are met, has responsibility for our managed services and the provision of our internal support systems.

Matt Stead

Solutions Engineer

Matt joined SCS in 2005 having spent three years at Teeside University studying Computer Science. Matt designs solutions for our customers, particularly where a more complex solution is required, and is our Virtualisation and SQL specialist.

Phillip Harrison

Senior Field Support Engineer

Phil joined SCS in 2000 following a career in the Royal Air Force. Phil is a senior member of the team looking after our customers' more complex IT systems and is a Microsoft Exchange and Messaging specialist.

Steve Ling

Technical Support Officer

Steve has been a member of the team since 2001 having previously spent 26 years in the Royal Navy. Steve provides organisational support to the Technical Team and ensures they have the right products on time to meet our customer needs.

Edward Lyon

Field Support Engineer

Ed is the youngest member of the SCS Team, having joined SCS in 2006. Ed started life at SCS as a trainee and quickly assumed the role of Field Support Engineer. Ed provides on-site support to our customers and is a Symantec and Cisco Specialist.

Andrew Upton

Field Support Engineer

Andy joined SCS in 2000 and provides telephone and remote support to our customers. Andy also assists with ensuring that our
on-site engineers are in the right place at the right time.

Alex McLaughlan

Field Support Engineer

Alex is the newest member of our team having joined us in April 2010. Before this, he spent 10 years managing IT networks for a local organisation. Alex assists on installations and provides remote and on-site support to our customers.
